Not sure about which to avoid and why because there is so much subjectivity=
on these units. I called one of the owners at Touratech and Fred at offro=
ute.com and they schooled me on which not to get. Both had they same thing=
to say about which to get; The Garmin 60CSx. Among the many reasons to ge=
t the 60 is that is has the best external power supply hookup and it runs o=
n 12v just like your bike. It also has the best features and tools for mot=
orcyclists. It also has the best chip receiver set Garmin makes.
Which not to get? They both said to avoid the larger units with nice scree=
ns I'd be likely to pay too much attention to instead of the road or trail.=
..
The best mount IMHO is the Techmounts stuff.
